Once boiling let the mixture simmer whilst still continuing to gently stir, until it reaches 113-115 degrees Celsius which is the soft ball stage. Increase the heat a small amount still keeping it quite low and continue to gently stir the mixture until boiling.Taking your coloured food gel add a small ball into your mixture, building up the colour and mixing until the colour is dispersed throughout your mixture.On a low heat gently stir the mixture until the sugar had dissolved and the butter has melted. If you have never made fudge before it is alot easier than you might think and you can make it in any colour you like, just switch the pink for a different colour. It is smooth and soft and incredibly yummy. I absolutely love making fudge and this recipe really does just melt in the mouth.

In the tutorial I also use the vanilla SweetStamp letter set to add the ‘Love is Sweet’ message to the front. You can then add a lolly stick or pop in a wooden skewer if you want to add them into the top of your cakes. Making them the perfect size to add my vanilla fudge into. This mould has the perfect sized heart, measuring 9 x 8.5 cm. In the tutorial I am using the heart popsicle mould by Sweetstamp.
